If you didn’t know already, we are the UK distribution team of VanCat cat litter. Our parent company, BENTAŞ BENTONIT A.Ş is based in Turkey, they have been in the cat litter business for almost 15 years! We are not the only distributors of this fabulous product, there are currently over 50 around the world. All of the litters start their journey in the ultra modern production facility in Turkey, then make their way to the various countries around the world ready to be shipped out to our lovely customers.
It wouldn’t be right for us to tell you all about ourselves and our parent company without giving you some background information on what makes our litters special, and that’s what they’re made from, Calcium Bentonite. Calcium Bentonite is a clay substance, known for its excellent clumping ability, absorption capacity and odour retention. Almost 90% of the White Bentonite reserves in Turkey are in the region where BENTAŞ is based, meaning they dominate 80% of the Turkish cat litter market. So basically, they know their stuff!
Our VanCatUK team has been in operation since November 2019, we’re a family run business based in Dover, Kent. You may have spoken to one or two of us via email, Facebook or over the phone at some point. With over 50 years of customer service experience between us, we have a passion for building relationships, based on honesty and reliability. We run VanCatUK with a few very simple values, transparency at all times, with both customers and our team, treat others with respect and most importantly, teamwork makes the dream work!
